GageList provides comprehensive Crib Management features to efficiently manage tools and equipment. This includes an issue/return system for tracking individual tools and equipment, and a Kitting feature for managing sets of gages as single units. The issue/return system ensures accurate inventory and accountability, while Kitting streamlines the assembly and management of tool groups. These features improve organization and operational efficiency within your crib environment.
Enabling Crib Management
- Go to General Settings (found under Settings on the left sidebar).
- Scroll down to the checkbox options.
- Click the Enable Crib Management checkbox.
- Click Save.
Managing Crib Settings for the Account
- Go to Crib Settings (found under Settings on the left sidebar).
- Update the Employee List field to include all employees that will be issuing/returning gages/kits.
- Each employee must be entered on a separate line with the format:
Name [Badge Id] [Email Address]
- Each employee must be entered on a separate line with the format:
- Enable/disable checkboxes for the below crib features:
- Issue/Return from Kiosk
- Issue/Return from Account
- Kitting
- Click Save.
Managing Crib Permissions for a User
- Go to User Management (found under the user icon at the top-right).
- Select the user that requires crib permissions.
- Update the user’s role if needed.
- The Kiosk Only role prevents the user from accessing all account data/controls with the exception of issue/return functions from the kiosk.
- In the Crib Management section, enable the appropriate permissions for the user.
- Click Save.
Configuring Issue/Return Forms
- Go to Crib Issue/Return Forms (found under Settings on the left sidebar).
- Select the form you would like to modify.
- Add/remove fields and modify field options as needed. Available field options include:
- Field labels: Rename the field label that will be displayed on the form.
- Display Order: The order the fields will be listed in on the form.
- Clear Value: Clears the field value on all affected records when the form is submitted.
- Initial Value: Populate the field with the provided value when the form is presented.
- Hide Field: Ensure the field is not shown on the form.
- Read-Only: Display the field on the form without allowing the value to be modified.
- Required: Ensure the field always has a value entered on the form before submitting.
- Click Save.
